Bangkok Day 1 | Airbnb Apartment + Night Market
Hey lovelies!!! I hope everyone is having a good start to the week!:-) Today's post is gonna be about my first day in Bangkok! So far I've had many ups and downs in this trip so far (it's the second day right now), nevertheless overall I still had fun! I'm gonna start off with my airbnb apartment!!
I absolutely love our apartment! It's just right opposite terminal 21 and only a couple minutes walk from Asoke BTS station/Sukhumvit MRT station. It took us less than half an hour to travel back from Chatuchak Weekend Market!:-D In addition, our apartment was really well kept cleanliness wise, and the decorations were so cute! HOWEVER, some tiles on the floor were loose.
Okie!! Enough about my apartment!! Time to move on to the night market.
After we settled down, we barely had time for anything; it was already about 7:30! So we didn't bother going to any of those famous/popular night markets. We simply walked along the street from Asoke BTS station to Nana BTS station. There were definitely more clothes/shoes/watches etc than food stalls.
And after walking past a few pomegranate fruit juice stalls, we gave in to temptation and decided to give it a go! NO REGRETS!!! IT WAS AMAZING. Usually I don't like pomegranate (it tastes like medicine when not sweet, to me) but thIS ONE WAS SOOOO GOOD!!!!
There was also tons of watches, decor, clothing, bags, shoes etc, but we didn't get any!!
That's pretty much it to the night market! After the night market, we just called an uber home. Hope you guys enjoyed today's post:-) Stay tuned for more bangkok travel posts coming up soon hehe xoxo
